Advocates, elected officials rally for congestion pricing in Manhattan | News12 Brooklyn

FORT GREENE – Street safety advocates and elected officials rallied in Fort Green Saturday to ask for congestion pricing.

Victims of car crashes were also on hand to ask state legislators and Assembly members to pass a congestion pricing plan this year.

They say beyond raising revenue for the MTA, charging drivers to enter Manhattan’s central business district below 60th Street will keep more drivers off the streets and help keep pedestrians and cyclists safer.
