Hence, the rumor mills have been vocal regarding Apple’s next flagship handset arriving with a $1,000 price tag, to make it the most expensive iPhone variant ever.

However, a recent report from UBS has stated that Apple is set to revamp its 2017 iPhone pricing strategy following the arrival of Samsung’s latest Galaxy handset. According to UBS analyst Steven Milunovich, Apple would set a price tag of $649, with the iPhone 7s Plus for $749. Interestingly, the same source has reported that the tech company would launch its ‘tenth-anniversary’ iPhone at a starting price of $850, allowing the device to better compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
