Adding insult to injury, Kansas Jayhawks and Loyola Ramblers fans were hit with some hefty surge prices from ride-hailing services Uber and Lyft after their teams suffered crushing losses at the Alamodome Saturday night.

Basketball fans in town for the NCAA Final Four tournament took to social media to complain about paying steep prices of $100 or more in some cases to find rides from the Alamodome and elsewhere downtown after the games this past weekend.

“Whooaaaaa,” Jason Dady, the San Antonio chef behind the restaurants Shuck Shack and Two Bros. BBQ Market, wrote on a screen shot of an Uber quote he posted on Instagram after the games that showed estimated charges of $136.47 for an uberX, the company’s cheapest option, or $375.79 for an uberSELECT at the Embassy Suites hotel in downtown San Antonio.

“It’s busy, fares are a lot higher than usual,” Uber noted on its estimate.
