With as many as 40 Facebook posts on any given day, Mrs Swan’s followers can expect the latest information on everything from “flash sales” to how to buy one of Disney’s coveted Frozen dolls at a reduced price.

But Mrs Swan’s biggest selling point is that she reports on price glitches, which have included a 1p dining room table from Argos and a £5 money off voucher for Asda which, when used online, registered as £50.

Mrs Swan said the bigger stores would sometimes even construct deliberately a price glitch to drive traffic to their sites and get some free advertising.
