Job description

PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES
 To manage pricing competitive intelligence capability, with subject matter expertise on pricing dynamics in prestige beauty
 To help lead the continuous improvement and evolution of pricing reporting and analytics capabilities, including the communication, marketing and training of this capability across the ELC organization
 To co-lead and support strategic projects focused on development of ELC’s pricing expertise and capabilities
 To provide strategic analyses used in executive-level presentations
 

ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Drive new reporting/analytics initiatives related to the Strategic Pricing System (SPS), the platform developed by Pricing for broad usage by ELC marketers and finance employees. Example Ideate, design and create new report to identify recent competitive price changes
 Improve upon existing and develop new programs related to competitive intelligence and pricing expertise. Example identify ways to more effectively deliver pricing insights to broader pricing community at ELC
 Participate in preparation for Steering Committee presentations and key strategic projects; recent examples include assessing FX impact on key markets; evaluating product margin variances by market.
 Manage key vendor relationships relating to competitive intelligence data
 Proactive and motivated, highly coach-able, with a positive attitude and high flexibility, and a tendency to look for continuous improvement and innovation opportunities
 Team player with ability to build and manage key relationships
 Excellent problem solving skills and experience with analyzing large amounts of data
 Strong comfort level with applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and with learning new systems as needed (ex Anaplan)
 Excellent communication skills; an ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise communications
 Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience; management consulting experience valued
 Familiarity with prestige consumer goods industry preferred
