I booked a holiday in November but it is now cheaper. Are travel companies allowed to do this?  | This is Money

In November, I booked a holiday with TUI to Fuerteventura for April 2019, partly encouraged by the marketing to book early and receive a discount, as well as the limited room availability on their website.

I checked its website recently and the holiday is still on offer – but for £300 less, so I contacted the company.

TUI said terms and conditions state it can increase prices and reduce them for ‘costs changes’ so they will not budge.

It states the price, once booked, is the price you pay. My argument is it was encouraging early booking and showing limited space available, both of which appear to not be the truth.
